I have been a member of the Young Democrats club on my campus for three years. During my sophomore year, I was elected as the club’s secretary. Over the years, I have helped organize meetings, attended two Young Democratic Conventions, canvassed and phone-banked for candidates running for office, and managed the club’s social media.
Being in a leadership position has taught me a lot about communication skills and offered significant opportunities for personal and professional growth. I learned how to motivate and inspire others in building a collaborative and productive environment.
